Payment & Security
We accept major debit and credit cards including Visa, Visa Debit, Mastercard, Solo, Switch, Delta & Electron. Your card will be charged once your order is confirmed to be in stock and available for delivery. All prices include V.A.T. at the current UK rate of 15%. We will supply a V.A.T. detailed invoice via email or in hard copy upon delivery. When your order is processed you will be redirected to a Protx Payment page where all details are sent via a secure connection. On occasions, we may ask for further information in order to ascertain your identity and verify payment. This is a general procedure made as part of our efforts to combat credit card fraud and protects both parties involved in the online transaction.
Delivery Information
Most of our orders are sent by courier and require a signature. We can not accept instructions to leave items unattended. Smaller items are sent using Royal Mail. Orders are subject to a shipping charge, which depends on the total weight of your order, regardless of the number of items. Delivery within the UK will be within 3-5 working days of receipt of your order unless you are informed otherwise. If an item is not available we may cancel the order and refund your payment card within 30 days. If an item is delayed or subject to special order, we will advise you of the delay and offer the option of a refund. Orders required for a Saturday delivery must be completed no later than 12.00 noon on the Thursday before. Please note that Soundmasters Direct will not be held responsible for any costs, whether due to repeated delivery attempts, customs charges or any other import taxes incurred. If items are returned to us due to failure to accept the order then you are responsible for any repeat delivery costs.
Damaged Goods Upon Delivery
Your signature will be required by the courier upon delivery to confirm that you have received the goods in an acceptable condition. If your item is damaged upon delivery, you should carefully examine the item and only sign for it if you are absolutely sure that it is in an acceptable condition. If your item is obviously damaged then you should refuse to accept it and inform us as soon as possible. If your item is faulty when you first use it or appears to be damaged upon opening the packaging, then you must inform us of the problem within 7 days. We will then arrange to collect the item and exchange it or process a refund.
If Your Item Develops a Fault
Soundmasters Direct offer a comprehensive 12 month manufacturer's warranty on all products we sell. However, lamps & laser diodes, leads, crossfaders, slip mats, CD's and glow products will only be replaced if found faulty on delivery. All warranties that we offer are that of the manufacturer, and should a product develop a fault within the first 12 months we can arrange for an exchange or repair of your product at our discretion. You must arrange the return of the goods to our head office, but before doing so, you
must contact us to obtain a Returns Authorisation Number (RAN). Soundmasters Direct will return the goods to you after repair. Please note that if goods are found to be in working order you will be liable for all costs incurred.
If You Change Your Mind
You have seven working days from the date you receive your order to unconditionally cancel the order. You must notify us within seven working days in writing or by email to cancel. To qualify for a full refund minus the carriage costs incurred, the item(s) must be in its original, undamaged box, unused and it is your responsibility to take reasonable care of the goods while in your possession. If you wish to return an item for cancellation, you should send it to the address given below. Any return costs incurred by the cancellation will be met by you. We can arrange a collection of the order at a cost of £19.99. Please
contact us to arrange this. We will then arrange a collection of your cancelled order to take place within 21 days. Cancelled goods received in any other condition described above may be subject to a charge of the difference between the items cost and the 'second hand' value. If you have selected a courier delivery, we reserve the right to deduct this charge from any refund.

Soundmasters Direct make every effort to ensure that our pricing and specifications are as accurate as possible, but we are subject to our manufacturers conditions of supply. Therefore we do not accept liability for changes made to product specifications, availability or appearance. The goods displayed on this store are for professional use and may include European style plugs. Whilst we make every effort to ensure that product specifications are 100% correct, please understand that any mistake in our product description or image appearance may be out of our control. Should a product not match the advertised specification you have the right to cancel the order as detailed above.
