How To Use The Store

As you browse the store, click 'Add To Cart' if you wish to purchase an item. This will add the product to your personal shopping cart. Then select the postage band you require. You can select different delivery methods such as Standard or Saturday Delivery. You can check the items in your cart by clicking 'View Cart' at the top of the page. You can also remove items from your cart by changing the quantity and clicking 'Update'. When you are ready to check out from the store, click 'Checkout'.

Credit / Debit Card On-Line Payment

The easiest is buying on-line using our Secure Credit & Debit Card Server. Here, you can pay by any Visa, Delta, Mastercard, Switch, Solo, JCB Or American Express cards. Cheques & Postal Orders

If you'd prefer to send us a cheque or postal order, please make sure the cheque is crossed and made payable to 'SOUNDMASTERS DIRECT'. Write your name and delivery address in full on the back of the cheque along with the item you wish to order. Please remember to go through the order process on the webstore and print off the order confirmation. All orders are sent with a fully described invoice, complete with VAT breakdown. If the invoice is not sent with your order, it may arrive separately by post with 48 hours of your order being placed. Please keep your invoice safe during the warranty period of the item.

Stock Availability

The vast majority of our advertised items are available for delivery within 2-5 working days. However, due to manufacturers changing models, discontinued products and supplier deliveries, some items can go out of stock quickly. We constantly monitor our stock levels and those of our suppliers to ensure an accurate system for you. Any order that is not immediately in stock takes an average of three to five working days to deliver. Any delay in availability will be advised to you as soon as possible. If we do not anticipate delivery within 30 days, we will refund your money.


Where Do You Deliver To?

We deliver to mainland UK destinations, Northern Ireland, The Isle of Man, Isle of Wight and Scottish Isles. All deliveries must be signed for by the person who placed the order. Credit & Debit card orders must be delivered to the cardholders address unless alternative arrangements are made through our sales team by emailing us. This is to protect cardholders against possible fraud and theft.

When Will You Deliver?

UK mainland delivery is usually the next working day. You will receive a courier tracking number and email confirming the despatch of your order. Orders placed after 2.00pm or at the weekend will normally be processed the following working day. Delivery to Northern Ireland and parts of northern Scotland can take slightly longer. Deliveries are made between 9.00am and 5.30pm Monday to Friday and 8.00am till 12.30 on Saturdays (subject to an additional charge). If you have a specific delivery date in mind, just email us and we'll book your order to be delivered on a convenient date for you.

What If I'm Not In When My Delivery Arrives?

Don't worry! Our courier will leave a card with your local depot telephone number and your parcel reference. The courier will automatically try to deliver your order again the next working day or you can call them directly to make alternative arrangements. The courier will not leave the item with a neighbour or anywhere unattended. It must be signed for by the person who placed the order.


How Much Is Delivery?

Some items include FREE delivery. Most small items cost  £3.99. Larger items may incur a higher charge and is done so on a weight basis. The total delivery charge is based on the total weight of your order no matter how many items you have in your basket. Your delivery amount is clearly confirmed after you enter your delivery address before you place the order. Delivery to Ireland, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Scottish Isles, Scottish Highlands and Saturday deliveries will incur an additional charge. These delivery charges currently require a specific quote, so please contact our sales team for this information.

Who Will Deliver My Order?
We use several companies including 'Initial City Link', 'Business Post', 'Fed-Ex' and 'Royal Mail'.<br />
We constantly monitor their charges in order to offer the best delivery price to you. All orders will require a signature upon delivery and are covered against loss in transit.

Can I Track My Order?
Yes! Just 'Click Here' to enter our order tracking service. All you need to do is enter your unique delivery reference, given to you by us when the goods are despatched. You can track the process of your delivery with minute by minute accuracy.

All products are sold as brand new items, boxed and guaranteed for a minimum of one year. Some products have an extended period of warranty up to three years. Items excluded from our standard warranty include, Styli, Cartridges, Slipmats, Glowsticks, Karaoke & Recorded Discs, Crossfaders, Batteries, Lamps, Turntable Belts and Effect Fluids.

To claim under your guarantee you must have your invoice number. Follow the guidelines below on what to do if your item becomes faulty.

Returns & Refunds
What If I'm Not Satisfied With The Goods?
If you are not satisfied for any reason with your item, you can return it to us and receive your money back. Just email or write to us within seven days of receiving your order. We will refund the cost of the item (excluding delivery) within 30 days of us receiving the returned goods. This applies only to products in their original packaging, un-used and in same the condition it left our store. Karaoke CD's and other recorded material are exempt from this policy. You can arrange your own means of return, but collections arranged by us are subject to a collection charge of £19.99. For more details contact us here. You must clearly write your invoice number on the returned package and all notes included in the package.

What If My Item Develops A Fault?
First thing you should do is contact us, using the contact us page. We will then give you instructions on what to do next. You must ensure that the faulty item is packaged in it's original box with all accessories, leads etc. Your item will be repaired and returned to you. All collections arranged by us for repairs and exchanges within warranty are free of charge. Items are repaired either by the manufacturer or an appointed agent. All work is guaranteed. You must clearly write your invoice number on the returned package and all notes included in the package.

How Do I Arrange A Return?
All items returned, whether faulty or just due to dissatisfaction need your invoice number. This enables us to process and keep proper order of all returns, making our system more efficient and helping to deal with your return quicker. If you can't find your invoice number, contact us here stating why you wish to return the item and giving your name, address and date of purchase.
